What the 5 tuning numbers mean
| Position | Parameter | 1 (low) | 3 (high) |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | Engine | More acceleration | More top speed |
| 2 | Tires | More grip | More drift |
| 3 | Electronics | Small-angle drift | Large-angle drift |
| 4 | Chassis | Less stable, faster turn | More stable, slower turn |
| 5 | Body | Less downforce | More downforce |
Example: 23232 means Engine-2, Tires-3, Electronics-2, Chassis-3, Body-2. Most balanced setups are in the 2-3 range. Only adjust 1 number at a time when testing.

Adjust your setup by track type
Why track type matters
What official sources confirm
| Official fact | Why it matters here |
|---|---|
| Racing Master includes world circuits and city street tracks. | One setup should not be assumed to fit every circuit type or every race job. |
| The game features over 100 licensed vehicles. | Different cars need to be tested in their own context rather than forced into one recycled web code. |
| NetEase publicly talks about real-time duels, city tracks, and professional circuits. | Tuning should be treated as a live driving and track-fit problem, not just a static spreadsheet problem. |
Does ECU level change your tuning?
Yes β significantly. At ECU 0, cars often need more stability support. At ECU 3-5, the car handles better and you can push more aggressive setups.
Rule: Use default tuning until 25/25 upgrade. Start with community baseline at ECU 0. Reassess after each ECU level unlock.

Frequently asked questions
Why don't you publish fixed tuning codes?
Racing Master tuning depends on ECU level, upgrade stage, and track type. We show community-verified baseline codes from racingmaster.gg β test in Drills before ranked.
What's the safest way to tune a car?
Start from the community baseline above. Change one number at a time. Test on the track type you actually play. Re-check after a patch or major upgrade.
Should I tune before reaching 25/25?
No β keep default until 25/25. Partial upgrades change car behavior unpredictably.
Does drivetrain affect tuning?
Yes. AWD cars tolerate Electronics 2-3. RWD cars need more chassis stability. FWD cars need Tires 3 for turn-in.
What to do next
Pick the next route based on what you need to do next: ECU interpretation, class-specific tables, or checking the tier before investing.
